Democracy or Islamic Law.

One of French philosopher said that the new generation always sit on the shoulders of the old generation and see coming events in the world and solve accordingly.
I think this is what needed in Pakistan now. All political parties need to stick to this and stop blaming the people who were in establishment before them. Every time we see that when a new party is elected, soon after coming in power a blame game starts and all previous establishments are blamed for all the losses.

Political scenario is also somewhat interesting as from 1965 few land lord and their generations are continuously coming in power after rotation of five years and sometime before that, because of dissolution of assemblies.

People of Pakistan have no choice, but to vote PPP, PMLN, MQM etc. There were many Marshall Laws in Pakistan and even you will see some specific faces that will be also around in those years.

People have two views about the establishment. In opinion of one group of people, democratic establishment is better and other group stands for Marshall Law. Political parties claim that democratic system is perfect for the people.

Being a Muslim we believe in one God, one messenger Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and there is only one way to follow, the way written in book Holy Quran that descended from heavens during month of Ramadan and what is in hadith. These two have complete code of life till dooms day. Nowadays many object from around the world, this book was revealed 1400 years ago how the laws can be applicable to a totally changed world. Life style, needs , demands of society have completely changed. Even the duties of people are different from past.

I do not get this, I feel that the duties of parents, teachers, politicians are the same, but it can be said that the challenges are different now. It is claimed, how the orders of 1400 years ago can be applied now? God, who have created the world and is master of heavens, has kept an option for new laws, according to new challenges and the time. So we are given right to bring new laws that are in best interest on people but the change should be made according to teachings of Islam and no law should conflict the teachings. No one can claim that man made system of democracy is perfect. Only the system that was created by God is the one that can bring real change in society and save it from drowning. I think all the political party leaders sit back , analyze and try to hold the book and apply rules and they will see, how it will bring a real change.

Any protest with upbeat songs and dancing youth cannot bring any change for good. Pakistan came into existence on the name of Islam and people sacrificed their lives to live free according to law of Islam but the situation is totally different here.

If we see the facts then we can easily note that Pakistan came into existence before many other countries of the world but we cannot still progress on same rate. The main factor is political instability , economic crisis and this is because of failure of weak policies by establishment in the country. People of Pakistan are suffering from many decades because of clash between capitalists and feudal lords.

It is Snowing Again

The #nature has again changed its color, the #winter is at its peak  and it is snowing again in some parts of the world. I am sitting thousands of miles away from it and looking at the pictures shared by my friends and family from across the world on Face book. Showing the Earth full of snow that has covered and ceased almost everything. May be by now it’s on the go. Unfortunately, I do not know :’( . These pictures of snow bring many sweet memories from my childhood, when I used to enjoy snow in my Paradise Kashmir . The place where I lived throughout my childhood is Rawalakot. It is called PEARL VALLEY, because of its scenery and spectacular beauty. When there started  snow all the children used to come out of their homes to play. Covered with many woolen clothes, coats, jackets, gloves etc. I feel the quantity of clothes on any child depended on the intensity of cold their mother felt J . The picture on top is my daughter's favorite poem. As I am talking about my childhood so I thought this screen shot worth sharing.
The picture on left is of Pallandri Azad Kashmir. Coming back to point; all children from surrounding will come together and we made snow man, fight with each other by throwing snow and hiding to miss snow balls thrown on us. Use to slide on snow and finally we end up with eating snow with some sugar. All this normally take place when snow gave us some break and at times if we are excited, we will enjoy while it was snowing.

When we think about snow, a lot of things automatically rush to our minds like; Winter at its peak, frosty winds, frozen water, earth wearing white sheet, cold, fire etc. Fire that we lit to keep us warm. It’s nice that how two opposite things have a great connection.  So when we were cold after playing in snow, we used to rush to fire to bring life in our frozen hands and feet. I always thought that hands and feet get so cold as they are constantly in touch with snow :) . We used to wait for winter and snow throughout the year as Rawalakot was a winter station and children always got holidays for two months. Life is uncertain, so is snow. Due to uncertainty of snow many plans of travel were cancelled. Sometimes we were stuck in our homes and got bored. Only three options were left with us; play in snow, eat dry fruits and sit in front of fire.

The thing that always looked amazing to me were the foot prints of everyone and everything walking on snow. We walked for hours on snow and made different shapes on it; circles, homes, hearts with an arrow crossing it J . Well, it’s always sweet to think about the memories of the times that we enjoyed in  our lives. When we look back apart from some great lose we hardly remember about bad experiences and incidents. These memories and activities were from the day.  The cold winter night with snow have totally different image in my mind.

This was fun part but when we think about snow many other feelings also come in mind; it brings

complete stillness in lives. Life gets stuck, silent and still. Just cold air whisper in our ears and strike on our window planes sometimes in a scary way that I used to hide inside my quilt to be safe from a ghost that can be wondering outside to catch children he come across. A stillness and darkness prevail whole night. It seems that someone have paused the life for some time.

Only sound that broke stillness was of wind. It rolled and rushed around, making loud noise. Nothing seem to break the spell of the snow. A spell of stillness and silence.

This snow symbolizes many things from dark to bright. It shows that many memories are dead and buried deep under it and when it will melt it will take them with it and seep inside the heart of earth. It also gives us news of new hope as it declares the arrival of spring and new year. A new year with the spring is knocking on our doors and old has gone in dark somewhere in dark nights of snow.

I think that God has kept the snow at the end of the year to cover all sorrows and freeze all the tears.

It brings the news of  peace, joy and happiness in hearts. That take us out of depression and helplessness. This is the beauty that God, wants us to have, by closing one door of the old year and for opening the door of new hopes, success and independence with new year. For me snow symbolizes the fulfillment of life

The scene when sun comes after days of snow on snow is always spectacular when each drop of water and snow sparkles as diamond. After every snowing dark night there is a bright sunny day that sparkles everything. Cleans and brightens everything. Brings

These were few memories attached to snow from childhood. I do not have any snow around now and do not know how I will feel if I will have snow back. I too believe that we can get what we want. I want snow, I will get it someday, I know. Until then I am keeping these lovable memories saved with me.

What are your memories related to snow? Do you like snow and enjoy it?

I hope you will not forget to share with friends

Story by a Student about #PeshawarAttack

With every tick of clock, each passing second, people are getting aggressive and demanding the establishment to hang all imprisoned Taliban terrorists as a result of attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan. People are remembering all those who died in this war on terror. More than 50,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives I would say, were sacrificed to attained desired results, to reach the goal of a Pakistan free from all terrorists. A destination that is still in dark, way is foggy and no one is sure about the path they are following, if right or wrong.

Still all are moving with a hope may be they reach their destination. A destination of prosperity, destination of peace, destination of free Pakistan; where people are not bombed in their work places or while coming back home. Where people are not shot while performing their religious virtues. Where people do not fear to speak the truth. Where people do not fear for the life of their loved ones. Where people get justice at their door steps. Where no one starve to death because of poverty.

Until now, each sacrifice was accepted with a hope of having positive results. People of Pakistan are not afraid of blasts any more, as they believe a secure future for their children is more important. But what if, terrorists have left behind all the ethics of war and started killing and crushing our future; our children, our angels and our flowers. Everything is acceptable but not the slaughtering of our kids, that are our hopes, our dreams, our passion, our future. People are sad and there seems no way out of helplessness. This is not what they expected and sacrificed for. Pakistan has changed in an artificial world with no emotions.

There is depression, aggression, grief and anxiety in the people. People are remembering each and every single person that has lost life in this war. They are mourning death of 136+ kids that were killed by Taliban terrorists by firing in an army school in Peshawar on16-12-2014. They were slaughtered in school were they went to learn; how to love, how to live, how to accept and appreciate differences and how to stand united with people who are deprived of basic rights for living. A place where they went to know about forgiveness, virtues and care. It was first day in school for the kid in picture on left.

Everyone from all over the world has condemned this brutal and coward act of terrorists. Taliban have claimed the responsibility of attack by saying as these were kids of soldiers who kill them and their families so they have taken revenge by killing them. Here is message of Army Chief to them.

The students who survived are sharing heart breaking stories of the tragedy. Tears are burning town every cheek, palm seem to get sweaty and people are shivering after listening about death and blood. Life is uncertain, how in minutes everything change. There seems no hope and happiness for people and they are desperate.

Social media is full of pictures of children who lost their lives and messages from those who are still in hospitals. More than 60% profile pictures of my friends on Facebook are black. Everyone is expressing pain and aggression over the massacre. This picture is of a student who died in attack.

A student shared story of a brave female teacher who stood between children and terrorists as  iron wall. She told to terrorists that they have to pass over her dead body to reach students. She engaged terrorists and screamed to students to run for their lives. Some students managed to escape and many were killed. Terrorists burn her to get rid of her and punish her for resistance. Until her last breath she tried to save as many students as possible.

The student who survived and shared this story is bursting in tears and crying for his selfishness as he is saying that he ran for his life but did not go to save his teacher.

People all over Pakistan are admiring that brave women and praying for her forgiveness. I hope you will join and pray for all who died in this incident.

In such times of depression we must pray from our Creator, most Merciful to give us strength and save us from the cunning attack of our enemies and save us from such blood sheds and carnage in future and fulfill our lives.   May Allah bless her and accept her in highest grades in heavens.

I believe that this world is existing just because of such people who do not care for their lives, risk their lives to give; life, love, happiness and help to others. She truly deserve recognition for her bravery. Malala is on same way fighting for education of girls in Pakistan and this girl also fought and sacrificed her life for education.

Pakistan Vs India Hockey Match and Sports Spirit

Champion trophy hockey tournament 2014 for men was held in Bhubaneswar; India, that lasted from 6th-14 December. Total eight teams participated in the event. Firstly pool matches were played. Then in 2nd round quarterfinal, semifinals and final were played. The final of tournament was played between Germany and Pakistan. Germany won by 2-0. It was tenth victory of proud German team.

Champion trophy is just over but the noise is left behind. This time clatter is not because of who win or who lose but the debate is semifinal. That was played between India and Pakistan. As we know that these two neighboring nations are rivals. So any sports events played among these countries are taken as a matter of do or die by their people.

In hockey semifinal Pakistan got a victory over India by 4-3 goals. The event was hosted by India and the match was played in Kalinga Stadium nearly all crowd was supporting India. As the match come to end Pakistani players removed their shirts to celebrate their victory. This was taken very seriously by Indian media and people. Indian team captain Sardar Singh and their head coach Roelant Oltmans commented as:

Sardar said, "They should not have celebrated in such a way. There were families inside the stadium and they shouldn't have taken off their shirts. Even after winning the match against Pakistan in the Asian Games, we didn't celebrate in this fashion."

"I didn't see too much of the Pakistan players but it was a bit too much," said Oltmans.
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com

We have seen so many players in different sports events removing shirts to celebrate so we cannot say that was too much. But it’s also a reality that few Pakistani players were seen showing rude gestures to the crowd. Though abuse from the crowd continued throughout the game but the players should show sportsman spirit. They should have potential to stand in the stressed conditions.

After match Wiert Doyer tournament director, came with a statement that after investigating the situation he don’t feel it necessary to take action against any player. Moreover, he said he have spoken to Mr.Shahnaz (head coach of Pakistani team) and told him that the behavior of Pakistani team was somewhat beyond acceptance of FIH. For that Mr.Shahnaz apologized and said this type of behavior will not be seen again. But he refused to apology from india as he said players did that as a reaction. All that happened was basically because of the heat of moment. On the other side harsh statements continued from Indian side and later Mr. Shahnaz apologized to Indian team on behalf of his team. To satisfied the sick, rival host Pakistan hockey federation banned two players for two matches so they were not been able to play the final and one was warned.

After all this drama Pakistan team lose final and winner’s title goes to Germany. Hockey is National game of Pakistan but unfortunately because of lack of facilities and financial support from the government, Pakistan is lacking behind. On the other hand India is spending a lot of money on different league matches to improve and bring forward new talent on gross root level but still no fruitful results are attained.

If both these countries remain engaged in their fighting, they will surely not being able to rise which they deserve.

VIP Culture in Pakistan.

Pakistan came into existence on 14th August 1947. The founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam
was born with a golden spoon in his mouth as he was from a noble and rich family of Sub-continent. He was strictly against VIP culture. At different occasions he did not allow his family to take any favor because of him.

I am not sure exactly when this culture penetrated in Pakistan. We are paying the price in our everyday life with every single passing moment. This "VIP culture" has become a parasite and killing us. I still remember the time when I used to go to university and everyone on road have to wait for 2-3 hours in heat or cold, during morning and evening, as all the traffic was blocked for many hours for the protection of passing VIP's . Saw this picture on Facebook.

We used the term "ROUTES" for this road blockade for the VIP’s from Islamabad. No matter which VIP has to pass, people have to wait for hours until VIPs reach their destination.

After sit-in protest by sportsman turned politician Imran Khan and cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri from Pakitsn Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistn Awami Tehreek (PAT) respectively against rigging election polls 2013, things are changing in our society. People are getting up from deep slumber and thinking about their rights. This is one of many tweeted reactions against the corrupt politicians of Pakistan.

Here is an example of change that I am talking about. People of Pakistan have stood against this VIP culture and started thinking that they are humans too and must be treated with respect. As before I do not think that we were thinking about being a human and we never thought or fought for our rights as all rights are reserved for VIPs. We were just slaves of VIPs.

I am sharing a video here in which passengers protested against the delay of Pakistani flight from Karachi to Islamabad as politician Rehman Malik arrived late on flight . Two people (Ex-interior minister) Rehman Malik and PMLN MNA Ramesh Kumar were thrown out of the plane. You can see a video from you tube when the minister was off-loaded from flight by angry passengers as they were forced to wait for two hours.

Let's not forget to check the reaction from Rehman Malik, he tweeted as;

His page is full of tweets about the event defending himself. He explained that the delay was from PIA ( Pakistan Airline) and not from him.  Finally he has asked for the inquiry of the event. Hopefully we will know about the consequences of the  event very soon. The answer came from PMLN MNA Ramesh Kumar who told to angry passengers that flight was delayed because of Rehman Malik. On inquiring he explained that he did not board the plan as was waiting in lounge for the arrival of ex-interior minister.  He was also thrown off the flight due to his late arrival.

Here is an other link of video from #BBCtrending where they have inquired from few concerned people about this.

Let’s have a look on the reaction from VIPs  in Parliament of Pakistan. In joint session of assemblies of Pakistan; national assembly & senate politicians have strongly condemned the off loading of the Rehman Malik & PMLN(n) Ramesh Kumar.

The VIP culture has strong roots in South East Asia from decades. After this reaction from people,we can see, the effect has crossed the boarders and many have tweeted their wishes somewhat like this;

This is a change and revolution that we need. This can make Pakistan a better country and better place to live, where politician will be accountable for their wrong doings. Politicians have to learn that they are servants of the nation not the King. We have decided as a nation that we will change the destiny of Pakistan. Now people of Pakistan have decided after 60 years of suffering and there is no retreat. Politicians should wisely change their way as people have started rejecting VIP culture.

Detailed video of the incident is Here.

This is a link from Daily motion as YouTube is blocked in Pakistan. Dailymotion video.

I believe , the need of time is to have politically conscious and progressive youth. The Youth that come forward and send these corrupt politicians to send in back ground, better behind the bars.

Pakistan Today.

Pakistan is divided into two battle fields. Army is fighting one battle against terrorists;sacrificing their lives for the ego of Pakistan. Its integrity is far more important than anything else for them. Other battle field is set up in Abpara , Islamabad. Where Three political parties are in action on main stage, fighting battle for their ego. This is most critical time of history of Pakistan.  One party is Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML(N) that is holding office and other  two are Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  of Imran Khan. PAT walked in Islamabad from Lahore under slogan of  “Inqilab “ ( revolution) March stepped up his call for democratic reforms in the country and justice for forty innocent people who were killed by Punjab government and PTI is here with #AzadiMarch slogan, demanding for resignation from Nawaz Sharif. The agenda of both later parties is to force the governing part to resign from office as they are blamed to be there by rigging election polls of 2013. They are protesting for new and fair elections.  Imran Khan and Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri have addressed their flag waving protesters and vow them to stay strong and determined until government step down.  The crowd of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and IK is very committed. Government is not taking this rally and protest seriously as they argue that the crowd is smaller then it was promised by the leaders that they will bring. In reality Crowds are not checked by their number but by their commitment , enthusiasm and devotion. The crowd with these parties are ready to die for the cause. They are in Islamabad away from their homes fighting against heat and severe rain and are committed to stay in Capital for as many days as asked from them.

Many around the world believe that these two internationally recognized personalities, a sportsman- turned politician Imran Khan and Cleric Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri are increasing security threats in country by disturbing equilibrium among the people by protesting for; resignation of democratically elected government and reforms. The people of the country now believe that PML-N is now playing with fate of country and the existence of country is in great danger. This unrest in country is giving a chance to enemies, they are getting ready to take advantage of this uncertain condition to  vanish Pakistan from face of Earth.

Pakistan came into existence  on the basis of Ideology and people in establishment must work for ideology and interest of the motherland rather than protecting their personal interests. All television channels are storming the news of two protesting rallies in Capital Islamabad. The populist politician Imran Khan (PTI) has called for the Civil Disobedience movement. He is asking public not to pay any tax or utility bills to fraudulent Nawaz Sharif’s government. He is facing severe criticism after this call . No one knows that how the establishment and  politicians from Punjab  will respond to his Civil disobedience Campaign. Millions worldwide are watching this drama on their  Tele Vision screens and are interested to know the outcomes of this protest and waiting desperately which political party will tumble towards the defeat.

Pakistan is divided in many pieces with this wrestling by political parties. Apparently division is not much on the basis of provinces but on affiliation of people with political parties. Sindh and Baluchistan somewhat seem dormant as affiliation is with other parties.  Kaber Pakhtoon Khawa (KPK) have to face natural disasters and also fighting against terrorists and extremist groups.

Intellectuals and analysts  are afraid that this political instability will surely increase economic crisis in country. Country is going through critical and dangerous period of her life time and her existence is under great threat. Political parties are fighting against each other in the capital for chair but they are forgetting about many Marshalls that have pushed Pakistan many times during past in depths and darkness. There is no Benazir Bhutto left that can be sacrificed again to restore democracy. Analysts are emphasizing on dialogues and condemn the use of force against civilian.  Time has come that the establishment must come forward, considering the suggestions by Jamat-e-Islami , Mutaheeda Quami Movement and Pakistan People’s Party for dialogues and PTI & PAT must show some flexibility. It should not let people enter in red zone as there will surely be the loss of lives. This will be only way to keep Pakistan away of national and International threats of chaos and destruction.

Some believe that this is deviating attention of Pakistan from the pain of people of Gaza. This is the time to stand united and fight for the rights of Palestinian. In current situation the actions of the political parties are irrelevant when the people of Gaza are suffering from brutal killing. Pakistan need to be a stable country so it could help other Muslim countries.

No matter what anyone believe, Pakistani Nation is happy that still this rally is non violent. Everyone is hoping that protestants will not fall as if this happened no one will dare to stand against fraudulent government for decades. I hope that parties will settle their problems through dialogue and outcomes will be in favor of Pakistan and this protest will remain peaceful without any unpleasant incident till its end.

LONG LIVE PAKISTAN.

Basant .... Kite Flying Festival.

A Seasonal Festival

Today I thought to share the joy of a sporting festival. I will introduce you with a famous spring festival of India and Pakistan called Basant  that marks the pleasure and jubilation in the region. The word Basant came from Sanskrit meaning spring. With the arrival of splendid long awaited spring, streams start flowing and the trees bear flowers, birds start singing and honeybees hum from flower to flower and people find a way to express their delight.

This festival is celebrated with the start of spring. There are many stories about this centuries old traditional festival. There is no clear information about the history of Basant and  how the festival was originated. Some writers say basant was firstly celebrated in China where farmers used to fly kites to scare bird for coming in their fields. According to some , it was celebrated by Hindus to mark the start of spring.

Its origin is unknown to majority and whatever was the originating point it is seasonal festival of Indo-Pak Sub continent. It is also called Basant Panchami is actually the herald of spring , it marks the growth of wheat and blooming yellow mustard flowers. According to the fact many females and males dress in yellow color dresses. Females wear yellow and green dress and males use scarf or yellow turbans. Before partition of India and Pakistan Muslims , Hindus and Sikh used to celebrate this together but now it is not much famous among Hindus. It is now celebrated in Punjab ( Indian and Pakistan) where Sikh community from Indian Punjab and Muslim community from Lahore Pakistan celebrate it with great enthusiasm. This festivals have religious aspects for Hindus but for Muslims in Pakistan it is just about kite flying and kite fighting.

By the arrival of spring as rivers of Punjab start gushing people start to equip themselves with kites , strings for the celebration of Basant in Lahore. Joy of spring is enriched by Basant celebration. This festival is more popular in Androon Lahore (inner or old part of the city) with few other areas of Punjab.

Millions of the admirers crowed reveal the kites of different colors with the help of string rolls ( dor) that seem to fly to heavens lifted from rooftops from dawn to dusk. Before it was a thread but now people have started using chemical , grounded glass or metal wires. The purpose is that during competition one party have to cut the thread of other party to bring down opponents’ kite to win. Many different types of fighter kites are used for kite fighting. Cards are printed for Inviting family and friends to join the celebration and special food is prepared for the occasion to serve the guests. All day the celebration continues and people do not sleep at night , during day people fly colorful kites and at night white kites are used so it become visible in light.

Over the years it became very famous and many people from all around the world travel and visit Lahore for this celebration. Pakistan was making seven billion rupees by tourism during basant festival. People show their enthusiasm as the Creator Inflames love in hearts during spring and the whole day of basant  is marked with festivity, the artist and singers are busy throughout the year to bring something special on this occasion . There are many famous songs about Basant that reflect the culture , festivity, diversity and liveliness and romance of Punjab . People dance on the songs that are played on loud speakers during kite flying with beats of drums in the back ground. Many homes and hotels book their roof tops for the celebration. Festival is all about kites , party ,sweets, merry making , fun and air is enamored with screams of … BO KATA( winners shout after cutting thread of opponents). Different days are described for the festival throughout Punjab to keep the enthusiasm of Basant alive.

Whole sky is covered with the flying kites of different colors. It seems that the sky have been painted with beautiful flying objects. Kites with variety of shapes, sizes and colors are used during event. Some youngsters seem busy in dancing , some with kite flying some children carry long rods to collect kites that are cut to fly them again but some collect to resale them.

Unfortunately over the years this festival has lost its original form and transformed to a bloody game and have become very controversial as the traditions of acceptance , patience and respect are uprooted from society. Sometimes very serious fights break during event resulting in loss of lives. This sporting festival has lost its distinctive features and is termed as killjoys by masses in Pakistan after the use of chemical string many lives are lost.  Sometimes the chemical string that is used by enthusiasts comes on roads and cut the necks of children or people walking in many cases often split the neck of motor cyclists. Some youngsters also do firing in air with different types of guns and it cause heavy loss of lives. Keeping in mind the loss and disadvantages Punjab (Pakistan) government have banned the celebration in 2006. The government have made it illegal to fly , make , trade or sell kites, in addition to this, prohibited manufacturing of kite string. Now under law , any violator can be imprisoned for 3 years or can have penalty of Rs.100,000 or both.  Government of Pakistan had suffered the loss of millions of rupees ( Currency of Pakistan) as three grid stations caught fire because of use of metal wire for flying kites.

A large number of people specially women were associated with kite making , most of them are illiterate and do not have any other skill to get their livelihood. According to a report 150,000 people were related to kite making in 2005. Some of them were related to this business from more than ten years. Due to heavy charge and penalty people are scared and cannot keep this business running.

I would like to draw attention of Punjab government on the point that this was a great festival that not only helped people but also government in many ways some got their livelihood from it and some got happiness and fun by enjoying. I hope government will not let vanish this colorful festival. I believe government must allow kite flying but special zones must be reserved where people can enjoy sport and poor people from Punjab can get their source of income. Government must have strict check on chord and make proper regulations relating it’s gauge , material. An alternative employment opportunity must be provided for the women and men who were related to kite flying. Special precautionary measures must be taken on roads to avoid any causality specially for motorcyclists. Government must also ensure the use of helmets by motorcyclists. As there are many sports around the world which brought large scale loss of lives but no one banned the sport but tried to find the ways to make it less harmful.

Multitude of Pakistan are saddened by the decision as it was a way for them to relax and look forward that government will lift the ban in accordance with the orders of court on long awaited festival and give people a chance to enjoy extravaganza of the sport festival by indulging the jubilation with sportsman spirit  .

I hope that the horizon of Punjab will be brightened with the fanciful kites and air will be full of Boo Katta sounds soon.

What do you think about this festival and if you know that it is also celebrated in some other parts of the world then I will be happy to know that.

Thank you for your time and I hope to have you again.

Pakistan: No Fear of Blast Anymore

A country like Pakistan, which is under a flood of problems, is facing evils of terrorism. Last night I heard a noise of blast. No one around got shocked by the sound. A girl came near me and asked: “Did you hear the sound?” I said “yes!” She responded I think it was very near as the sound was pretty high she added, “Hope so it will not cause many deaths” and went away. The life around was moving flawlessly.

It was not the first time that I heard the thud of blast and witness injures. I have seen so many times on a blast spot after half an hour life was usual. Few days back after coming from a place where a blast took place an hour ago I switch on the television and got upset to hear the blast news on every channel. Every channel was in a war to present the news of blast in most dreadful way. Many reporters were telling that they are on the blast sight and people are feeling fear to come out of their houses because of the present condition.

I myself know few people who lost their loved ones in such attacks but no one told me that they are feeling fear. Since 9/11 US attack, Pakistan is facing this crisis. 35 suicide attacks took place in year 2013 killing 643 people and 1518 injuries. People killed by Drone attacks in 2013 are 133 and 47 get injured.

If I add some numbers of suicide and drone attacks from 2005 up to 2013 then the whole story will become clear that why people have no more fear of blasts.

Moreover, these are only the figures of suicide and drone attacks if I start discussing about other kind of attacks it will be really chaotic.

Majority of the people killed in drone attacks were innocent children and women. I am not writing this article to blame America or any other country or organization. The purpose is to tell the world that due to such frequent occurrences of blasts the people are fearless to die.

If such attacking continues then the fake tag pasted on “Muslims” as “Terrorists” will no more remain bogus and it will not result in river—its consequences will be sea of blood. In the end it is not worth mentioning that ‘The suffering is no more painful’.
