Gender discrimination: Do I have the right to live my Life???

I will be; what I want not what you expect me to be!!!

&

You have to accept me for who I am.

A problem that prevails in many families of South Asia is that a hell lot of things are expected from girls. Families and people around them want the girls to behave in a certain way, live a certain life, do a particular job or have a typical behavior, even if the girl might want something else. With the birth of baby girl the parents become so cautious that they start treating her differently from beginning as if she came from an outer space and is an alien. Parents and family start expecting a lot from her and impose a lot of restrictions.

If a girl child asks for permission to join children playing in street or in some ground nearby,  she will be told that girls are not allowed to jump around in open spaces like in parks or grounds and can not take part in playing activities outside the house. They are emphasized better not to play but as being a child when she stats crying she is told,"If you really want to play then play inside the boundary walls of the house". I think this is a standard response in most of the families in South East Asia. 'Inside the house , inside the house', this is what rings in her head continuously .

Little girls are often surprised and even do not understand when they are given not so good or less food than their brothers. Often they are not served with food with the boys to eat, priority is always given to the boys. The saddest thing is until now the girls are not even allowed to disagree with the behavior or complain about the discriminating behavior against them.  Some examples of discriminating behavior from society are;

If any elder from the family buys something from market, the brother will always have the preference to have the things of his choice first and then the parents fulfill the girl's wish.
When it comes to education, the boys will study in better schools and girls will be sent to an average school, mostly government schools with no fees.
When it comes to the choice of subjects again the same notice, "You can not choose yourself". Parents decide, which subject the girls will take as major in studies. I am teaching  girls and boys from the last ten years and I come across many females students during my service who tell me that they never wanted to take the subject they are studying and their parents just forced them to take this subject.
When it comes to the choice of the career, the parents will give full rights to the boys to work in field of their choice but for girls but once again the same behavior jumps in, "No, no, how you can think about it? You do not know that this field is not for the girls at all. No one will marry you if you will choose this field "!!!

Why not ??? Can anyone answer me???

When Allah is the Creator and He created both baby girl and boy with the same phenomenon. Both
girls and boys have same surname. Both breath, talk, walk and live in the same way and when both are the humans then why is this discrimination here? Why this society do not allow girls to do what they want, to take profession of their choice, to talk the way they want and with whom they like?

When it comes to the choice of life partner, again family will decide who is best for the girls, but  boys can choose any girl to marry and parents will support him in every possible way to marry the girl of his choice.

My Point on marriage of a girl:

My point here is not that the females should go and marry whom they want. I strongly believe it will disturb the equilibrium in the society specially in our Muslim society. In fact it is not allowed according to Islam for the girls to go and marry on their own. I believe that girls can be in trouble sometimes. What I want to say is, at least they should be able to exercise the right given to them from their religion. Girls must be allowed to meet, see, talk then accept or reject any proposal depending upon, if she likes or do not. If she is not willing, she must not be forced into that marriage.

Normally what happens in our society in South-East Asia, if the girl's parents want some boy as their son-in-law, their will, will be imposed on the girl straight away.

Consequences:

The consequences are far more worse than we can imagine, as this discrimination affects not one girl, but the whole society and the future generations. As Napoleon Bonaparte  hassaid years before, “Give me good mothers, I will give you good nation.” If you are treating young girls with discrimination, how they can be confident enough to face the world tomorrow? They will lack many features in their personality. The way our general behavior is deteriorating and the ever increase in the number of problems is just because we are not giving our girls the right to grow and flourish as they want so they can bring forth and prepare a good nation in future. I just wonder when finding no hope from anywhere at all if the girl try to break the chains of this discriminating behavior and run far away from the home or do some harm to her life, who will be responsible? Why we can not break double standards in our life? How family specially parents can discriminate between their kids that is their blood?

Change in Air:

Apart from this discriminating behavior, I feel that the change is in the air. I am happy that this typical mentality of many rural areas is continuously changing and there are many families who do not have such situation at their homes. Now many families consider their baby doll as a human and try to bring her up with the confidence, they try to provide her with equal opportunity in life like boys. I think this change is only because of the education.

If you are a westerner then maybe you do not understand the need of this post but I want to be voice of many females from my region who are deprived of many basic rights of their life that are taken as for granted in west.

Request:

I will request all parents to treat baby doll as human and give her a right to LIVE and live confidently and independently. Give her at least some space to express herself, to speak her own mind. Then see what wonders she does in life, you will be surprised to see her strength and courage. She really is a shining star and do not be a black cloud in front of her, give her a clear sky and let her take the charge and lighten the world with her vision and ideology.

The treatment towards girls always left me wondering , "Who Actually Owns their Life???? She or you or they !!!!"

I always read or come across people saying, " I hate my Life. " I strongly believe that I am not one of them, " I love my Life even being a female." I just wanted to live my life as I want it. I am happy that I was given right to my life and I thank my parents specially my mother, who gave me confidence to go in world and fight for my life. She trusted my qualities, that I did not know at that time.

I just beg to people who still discriminate between their boys and girls, please give her a chance and right on her Life. You can simply assist or guide her, when she will ask you, no interference beyond that.

For sure every girl just want to be one that she wants. I do not want you to snap your finger (you want it that way) and make her do what you want - nor would she want it to be like that.

Anyway, the point is, for her life you try to be the thinker, talker and she is the doer. Why not give her a chance to think and do for herself? I do not want you to push her in future, I want her to adapt better to the future.

Take your kids, no matter Boy or a girl as your kids and part of your family. As both male and female make the car of the life rolling.

Being a female, I do not want to just survive in the world , I want to live my life and live it happily.

Can I get a chance to be HAPPY with the success that I want from the bottom of my heart?
&

Please do not expect from me to be someone, who I am not!
Family 💞may Allah keep families safe and blessed
#love is where the #family is.

What Educated Mothers from Developing Countries can Do in Current Situation?

Say: ‘Can those who have knowledge and those who do not be alike?’ [Holy Quran Al-Zumar, 39:9.]
The world around us is changing dramatically. We are getting success in many fields of life and have a better life today. All the development has not been successful to sow the moral values within us. As we are having facilities, the moral is deteriorating day by day. Advancement in technology has not improved our behavior towards life.
Why is that, with a lot of facilities and better chances of survival we are not at peace at all? But lack respect, love, affection, peace  etc. in our lives. Poverty, misery, greed, corruption, crimes, unrest, terrorism is increasing beyond limits.
I believe in quest of becoming richest and reaching other outer heavenly worlds we have forgotten the need of love in our lives. How is that, we do not know our next door neighbors and not ready to help anyone around us?
Behavior towards girl child in Developing countries:
Majority of the people in the world are from poor and developing countries. In those countries there are many problems that society is facing. The first of all is related to discrimination between woman and a man. Families give importance to boys and girls are treated as servants for them. They are not given right to think about their life and are kept busy in home chores when they are little sensible. Good food, good facilities and good schools are considered to be the right of the boys. It is common perception in developing country like Pakistan that boys will become the arms of father and earn money for family but girls are there to add the expenditure.  That is main reason that boys are treated well and sent to better schools etc. People believe, what they will do by spending money on females, tomorrow they will leave the family and there will be no use of the investment.
It is also believed that Boys will do jobs so they need education, as it is not responsibility for a girl to earn so what they will do with the education.
Role of Women in Society :
Woman is an important partner in life and we all have bonds with her in form of a: mother, sister, daughter, wife etc. No matter what religion, place, race we belong, women are always considered respectful.
This was not the case before Islam. New born baby girls were killed or buried alive and Islam stood for the women and gave them equal right to live. Asked people to stop this brutal practice and considered it as a great sin against humanity.
Islam not only stood for the life of women but also give them right to education.  Islam puts a lot of emphasis on education and it is a saying by prophet Muhammad, “Seeking knowledge is a duty of every Muslim, man or woman”. (Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 218).
So it is not that only boys are in world and they should seek knowledge. Islam ask Muslim women and men to seek knowledge as it can benefit us in many ways. I would like to talk about education of women in this post.
You may have heard a famous quotation from Napoleon Bonaparte, "Give me good mothers and I shall give you a great nation!"
When women become a mother, our whole perspective towards her change. It is one of biggest responsibility for being a parent but I feel that mother is more responsible for bringing up a great nation. As a child our first step towards a better life starts with our mother. As she being our first teacher teach us how to behave, how to love, live, respect , sacrifice and take care. Mothers have a great role to play in development of a child and proper nourishment of body and soul.
All the responsibility of giving moral and ethical values to kids start from home, with the mother. So if a mother is responsible for good deeds of the kids, in a way we can say that she is also responsible for bad actions of their kids as well.
The contribution of mother towards the society cannot be ignored. Her love, care is unmatched. No matter she is educated or not, she tries to play her role in best possible way being a mother, tries to give better values to her kids.
If we see around us, we cannot ignore the misery and pain around us, in form of killers, terrorists, our world is full of mentally sick people. So from where all these criminals surface, if a mother have given best values to kids, when they were growing up? Why we do not  find people in large number, who love, care about others, are ready to help, but mostly we come across those who will deceive us, try to take advantage of us and leave us in despair.
Why is that? Who is responsible for such behavior? I am sorry to say but may be mothers also have to do a lot with such behavior of their kids, when they grow old.
Why we are not improving morally?
If we check the profiles of the criminals from around the world, we can easily see that most of them come from those back grounds of most remote areas of the world, we poverty and lack of education.
Unfortunately the problem in developing countries like Pakistan are uncountable but I personally feel that the step towards the solution starts with the education of young girls. Many girls in poor families are married at a young age when they do not know anything as they are like kids at that time, what values such girl can give to her kids who do not know anything about life herself.
What to do?
But if we as society motivate people around us and the government make strict laws for educating girls then the condition can be better. We can stop the ever increasing growth of criminals and terrorist from our society.
I feel that an educated mother can give the values of love, harmony, respect, care to her kids.
Normally it happens in Pakistan that when people do not like any law by government they start complaining that this is against religion and people normally do not follow it. But in this case, government can train the people in Masjids and ask them to address public five times a day after prayer and emphasize the need to educate kids specially girls.
Educating society as a whole, without the discrimination of a male or female is only intellectual way to deal the problems of society and to stop criminals, suicide bombers etc.
Why to Educate Women?
The role that a mother can play in nation building and the way she can help eradicating the problems from society is unquestionable.
This can be best step to call upon all the mothers, by equipping them with the education and letting them to build a generation for future, who live and let others live with peace and harmony.
Mothers can stop this war against humanity. She is only one, who can stop this slaughtering and terrorism. Only a mother can help in this critical time, let her bring the change in society by first changing her prospective towards life. Equip her with education and see how she does the wonder for the world. We need to bring discipline in their life to get their kids back on track.

I strongly believe that by women empowerment and education we can bring a change to our world. Role of a Mother in Nation Building in very important and it great that we can educate to equip them with values that can bring revolution.

Social Injustice in Small Towns of Kashmir

This is a story from my last holidays.

During my holidays I came across different situations, news etc. I was gathering stuff in my mind to share. I was thinking I will write when I will get back but today I came to know a situation of a family and it forced me to write.

A female is helping my mother at home for cleaning and stuff nowadays but I never talked with her except assigning her some task to complete.

This time when I came to my mother house she planned parties for family because of some religious and family events. For all arrangements I was in touch with that lady. When there was day for function I noticed the lady avoiding and hiding from people. I could not understand this behavior and I was much concern why she was acting like this. When I was completely free from organizing whole home back, when everything was finished , I called her to  ask for her strange behavior.  She told me her story and I was very sad to hear all that.

Story of the Lady:

She told me that her husband is working as a security guard and his salary is Rs.18000 per month. They were doing good in that amount but last year they married their daughter as her in-laws were demanding for that, they took loan from bank for the wedding ceremony to entertain guests and pay dowry. Now bank is deducting Rs. 13000 monthly for loan and interest. Now they have to manage in 5000 Rupees only, which is very hard, for that reason the lady have to come out of her house and work in our home to meet the expenses of a big family of 9 people ( 6 son , 1 daughter and husband, wife).

My parents recently shifted in this place and no one knows them around in village, so she selected our home for work as she was afraid that  if some family member will come to know about her work they will scold her and look down upon her and above all her married daughter can pay price for this decision.

She also told me that she always emphasized for education in her home and her daughter passed intermediate before marriage and five more children are going to school. But now she is unable to cover the cost of education as everyday teachers are demanding for new books , copies , and other stationery for studying. She added the expenses are a lot even her children are going to government school. Children are coming back with new demands daily and when she cannot fulfill, the teachers in school punish children for that, children are not ready to go to school for that reason now. One boy is in 9th grade and he is looking for some work to support parents and thinking to quit school.

I called her son and asked him about this situation and he told me that they cannot even buy books and notebooks and asked me how they can study? I was speechless. I talked with boy for few minutes and I noticed that boy is very well mannered and well behaved. I asked him to help her mother in our home and asked my mother to pay him too. I told him to just water few vegetables and plants that my mother has grown plus feed birds that my mother has. He is very weak and I know that he cannot do any hard work by going out in market. I emphasized him to study and work hard and complete his education and stressed him not to quit in any situation.

Why we create problems for others?

I was thinking about this situation from many days and I was confused that why we feel shy to work with our hands if we are in need and why people do not try to help but create troubles. I hope behavior of people will change some day.

Responsibility of Government:

If government have opened schools , it is necessary to provide children with uniform, books and other stuff needed at school. Even I heard many times in news that government distributes the books etc. for school going kids but do not know where actually they are distributing as no story in my area about it.

How to help?

I am thinking how to help children like this in my village who want to study but cannot afford it. Mostly I come across news, advertisement and events of many organizations that stand against child labor and help children to get education on Television.

Work of NGO's:

I was thinking that such organizations are working in every city, I always appreciate their work but after coming to know this situation I tried to find such organization in this place and was sad to know that there is no such organization here that provide expenses for schools and books. I am wondering where all NGO’s are working.

How few NGO's work?

I came to know that NGO’s normally give loan to people by the money they get from all around the world and take back with interest and some give seeds to grow vegetables. In my research I also came to know that common people are not even getting seeds etc. or any benefit from these organizations as many black sheep  have become the part and only those people get any benefit who have some link or pay some money.

What to do?

There are many kids around who love to study and share in national development but cannot carry on because of their situation. I wish to help if not all , at least some students who are thinking to quit because of their situation. I really want to do something for these kids. I do not have any information and experience for any organization who is working for these kids who do not have any voice or approach. If there is someone working for this cause please guide me how to start.

I will really appreciate suggestions.

My message is #helpthepoordon'texploit.

#Life: Marriage of an Indian Girl with a Dog

I came across a very shocking video on Facebook today you can check the video by clicking here.

The girl can be seen in video with a dog. She was married to this stray dog to remove any bad luck from her.

I was feeling sad to hear about this.

According to details; An 18-year-old girl in India was married to a stray dog — to make evil spell run away!

The name of the girl is Munda and she belongs to a remote village in India. A local guru told to parents of this teenage girl that she was under an evil spell and if she will marry any man, she can be cause of his death and there can be  a lot of problems for family and surroundings.

So to get rid of this evil spirit, the parents of teenager had no option but to find a four-legged groom for her — as suggested to them. So they got a dog  named Sheru from the streets of the village.

The marriage was celebrated with all rituals and people of the village participated with enthusiasm and danced on beats of drums.

What girl is waiting for??

According to the video, the girl told that she is not happy with the marriage, but she has followed the customs to remove bad luck. She added that she will marry prince charming someday and he will have long life because of following this custom of peers.

According to video, many girls were married to dogs for a happy life in future.

Marriage of this little girl with dreams of prince Charming and beautiful life ahead left me in tears. Who is responsible for the pain in her heart and her sadness on her marriage???

I was thinking that in 2014-15 with lot of development in every field and with many human rights organizations around, this thing is happening on normal basis. There are animals rights organizations too.

What effect such steps by parents can leave on the minds of these little girls.

Why not same customs  for boys??

OK! Fine, if this custom is followed, then, what about boys, do they never have any bad luck??? Any boy in these villages had ever married any dog, to save their future wife???

  • Why we are so cruel that whatever we do, is just to protect boys in our society. There is no importance of girls?? They do not need to be protected, cared?? Why is that, always women have to sacrifice their emotions, goals and above all lives to satisfy men???
  • Why the women are restricted??? Why there are so many cultural, social restrictions always on women?? Why women are abused everywhere???  Why every cruel custom is to oppress women??
  • Allah has created humans as best of all the creations. They are given rights to their live in best possible way.  Good and bad luck are from Allah. Life and Death is from Him and the day of our birth and death has been written long before this world was created. How can such acts make any life long???
What it reminds me from Pakistan??

This reminds me of selfishness of our society and culture. I have heard news from Pakistan's rural areas, where people marry young girls to the Holy Book Quran, if they can not find any match in relatives. As they do not want their property to go out of the family. SIGH!!! There is no justice for females. Even if they have rights from their religion from their law but still they are suffering and pay price for being a female. But until WHEN???

Thoughts:

Can there rise the sun someday that will see that justice prevail and women do not face discrimination and get equal right to live their life as they want? To do what they want and how they want. They are given right to adopt the way they want to live, where they want to live and how they want to live. Can there be such day???

Yes!!! There will be a day of happiness for the women as well. I am hopeful.

This left me wondering that who is responsible for breach of who’s rights ????? Which organization should scream —  human's or animals ????

Kidney Donation

If you get least amount to sell your organ, will you sell it, preferably your kidney???

Introduction:
Kidney is a small, bean-shaped organ in human body. It filters water and other waste products from our body it also produce hormones in the body. The kidney surgery is called nephrectomy that is used to remove kidney from the body. There are many reason because of which kidney or it’s part is removed.  The kidney is normally removed if it is damaged , having cancer or any other disease or in case of donation.

No matter what type of surgery someone undergoes it can be painful , there are many complications that are possible during surgery, there is great risk of infection if the surgery is not monitored by specialized doctors.

From last fifty years, when first kidney was transplanted every year many transplants are performed but the demand is ever increasing than its supply. Many people  from all over the world donate kidney to someone who needs. These transplants are more successful if kidney is donated by living donor.  Donor can easily survive with one kidney. There are many types of surgeries that can remove kidney but we will not go much in detail. This should be know that during simple removal surgeon makes 12 inches long cut on one side to remove kidney. If someone donates kidney, it can save one life.  There are also so many risks and obstacles, there can be reaction to medication, blood loss, heart attack etc.

Organ Trafficking:

I did a lot of research on the topic after reading few news on internet about organ trafficking. Many people from Pakistan who earn US $ 2.5 per day are under great pressure of debts that they normally take from their land lords to pass their life. Landlords lure them to sell their kidney to cover their living expenditure and pay for debt. They fool innocent villages and tell them they will get large sum of money in its return and can pass whole life peacefully. They cheekily get their benefit and do not let poor run out of their hands. They also take their commission to bring such donors to commercial transplant surgeons. Having no idea about the situation poor agree on the donation.

Selling of organs is illegal in almost all countries of the world except Iran. According to  the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan, selling or purchasing of a kidney is illegal and if anyone is found doing so will be fined with years in prison.  There are many around the world who are suffering with severe pain and have tedious dialysis because of shortage of availability of kidney. Many die throughout the world while waiting for their transplant. In advanced countries of the world kidneys are removed from corpses. In order to motivate more people to donate kidney, many advocate for financial support for the donor. Due to unavailability of kidneys many head towards black markets of India , Philippine and Pakistan. Where many poor are donating their kidney for a small money to some fraudulent hospitals, which in return sell it in return of large sum of money. There are many such hospitals in India, Pakistan and Philippine that are working to deceive needy and involved in organ trafficking in black markets. Many around the world are involved in black market who are continuously harm the life of a poor person to save a rich one. Sometimes these donated kidneys work and sometimes they do not. Doctors try to aware public not to take risk of going to these black markets.

Few have moved to social media to get organ donation, there are few from the world that respond but mostly people from above mentioned countries respond. In recent reports few from UK have also showed their intention to sell their organ.

Anyone who is in need of money looks for different ways to earn large sum of money. People selling their kidney to black market hardy get $ 1500 ( in Pakistan). I have mentioned above that organ selling is not allowed except Iran but still people do so. There is need all over the world and this demand is increasing daily. People of the world must be convinced to donate kidney to save a life and compensation must be paid by a proper way and there must be awareness campaign throughout the world to educate people that if they are really giving their part of body to help someone do not give to fraudulent people that you cannot even get the actual compensation. Government must pay heed to this problem and save innocent people that are deceived and get risk of their lives from fake surgeons.

In some religions selling any organ is a sin as it is believed that God has gifted us the organ which is not for sale.

There are a lot of news from throughout the world. A lot of work is done to aware people for the need of donation but through a safe way.  A Canadian documentary is made showing the plight in  Philippines where people are selling their kidneys for $1,500 and sometimes less.

The director of film  “Tales From the Organ Trade,” Ric Esther Bienstock,  tells that she have seen herself the risk of such business.
“The more you try and crack down, the further underground the black market goes,” she said. “And what is happening is operations are becoming more dangerous for both the recipients and for the people who are selling their kidneys.”

Besides, the people who are actually performing the transplantation take this activity negatively and try to emphasis the need to agree upon certain criterion to motivate people to help others. Whole analysis also takes the role of commercial transplantation surgeons negatively. An article in the British Medical Journal refers to these cunning surgeons as “‘Rotten Jobs”. The productive black market of transplants are starting to be considered as good reasons because of no wait,  legalization and tight regulation.

Medical communities are raising their voice and suggesting the need for the financial help to the donor of the organ. The pressure of the requirement of the organ is increasing with the passage of time due to our life styles. We cannot negate the need for compensation as long substitute of human kidney can be found. No one knows when monetary payments will be legalized but there is need to tighten the rules to stop black markets to deceive people and get their benefits. As of result of many issues and long wait people are turning to productive black markets where they pay and get what they need.  Many people around the world are in trouble, there is need to save and help both, poor donors and patients who is in need of organ. There alo emerges the need to make the regulations simple so people do not turn to black market that will also help stopping organ trafficking.

Need of Time:

There is a need to aware poor people of the world, specially those who are fooled in India , Pakistan , Philippines, not to sell your kidney in black market.

Dammam : #Saudi Arabia

The thing that I like the most about teaching is; we enjoy a lot of holiday during each year. We always try to take benefit of different holidays and try to explore as much as possible. So last week we got spring break of one week and thought to visit Dammam, Saudi Arabia. I heard from people a lot about it so off we went to Dammam. As were not much sure about the route so we were hesitating to drive till there. At first we decided to go by train and checked the website of train for booking of seats but the available timing for travel did not suit us. So thought to drive till Dammam.

On our way to Dammam it was great to see that there were boarders of Kuwait, Arab Emirates, Bahrain etc. Saw many people driving towards these places for holidays.
We were going for the first time and as always were thinking to use navigator but it was great to see that it was a straight road No. 40 that was going directly to Dammam. It was super easy to get on the road.

We heard that there are few main cities in the area; Dammam, Khober and Jubail and all are
beautiful. Dammam city and Khober are very close but Jubail is little far away. Jubail is famous for its Industrial Area and Khober for its corniche and few universities.

It was just two days trip so we could not explore much. Mostly remain on road during these days and as much as we saw, it was a nice experience seeing it.

We saw some places in the city and then thought to visit Bahrain Bridge. There is a 25km bridge between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia through sea. Almost Half part is under Saudi Arabia and other half under Bahrain. The name of the bridge is King Fahd Cause Way. There is a toll plaza at the start of the bridge and we paid 20 SR there and we were told to go straight on Bridge.

It was nice experience to drive through the sea with huge amount of water on both sides. After few kilometers we saw a small Island with lot of palm trees and beautiful light towers. On arriving the place we came to know that it is Bahrain check point for immigration. There were almost 7-8 cabins and there were many lines of vehicles of people waiting for immigration. It was great surprise for me that there is no need for getting Bahrain Visa in advance as per occupation for GCC residents through Cause way check point. I asked my husband to give it a try. At the Check post we were little lost and were double minded to go for Bahrain or not(as I was forcing my husband to go for it. He explained to me as we did not plan before and do not know where to go so it can not be a great idea to act upon). So I kept quite as his point was valid. We did not prepare and do not know after entering which places are best to visit or where to go, so it’s good to stay and turn back from the check point.

Finally we took the U-Turn and turned back and parked the car and thought to enjoy cool breeze of the sea. There were a lot of hotels for food, a beautiful masjid, I was thinking to take a picture but I was so lost in it’s beauty that unfortunately forget to take picture. There was a high tower on Island and on top there was sea view hotel but unfortunately it was closed due to maintenance. So we could not go up to have view of the beautiful Island.

We went very early in morning around 9: 00 a.m. so there was not much rush on the sea. Just few
families were there. The sky was blue and the sea water was blue too. The horizon was meeting the sea and it seemed that sky came down on the earth. The water was very clear and calm. There were no weeds growth and we could even see the stones and small fish swimming in clear water.
There was barrier and visitors were not allowed to go in sea or swim. But can enjoy cool breeze while sitting on the benched along the side.

I sat down on a bench and my husband and daughter started running after seagulls and cats along the bank of the sea.

Then my husband got some drinks and asked if I am hungry. I told him even if we are not hungry better to enjoy food with cool breeze, he got some Arabic Rice and roasted chicken and to my surprise he told me that price is same as in the normal places in cities. I was thinking as it is check point the prices will be high, but not at all.

We enjoyed food and my daughter also feed some waiting cats and played with them too. I took few pictures while sitting there and saw few ships in the sea and also boats full of visitors were moving in the sea.

We remained there till 4:00 p.m. and it was the time when people started moving in and almost all the benches along the sea were getting occupied. People started coming in as sun was about to set. There was an over head bridge and it was full of trucks carrying containers and heavy machinery. I did not see any truck moving. I am not sure, why they were waiting there fully loaded, turned to Saudi Arabia.
We saw many people who were not aware of roads or routes and by mistake were entering in wrong
lane of the road, heard traffic policemen shouting and calling them on loud speakers to turn back on other roads.

We parked our car in parking area but many people parked outside hotels and along road and sea. There was a policeman who was leaving papers on each vehicle. He was doing his job when we entered parking area and by 4:00p.m. when we were returning he was still busy and we did not see even a single car that did not had yellow page stuck inside wind screen wiper for the fine.

Saw few people returning and discovering the paper and feeling disappointed but I was wondering why they parked their vehicle wrong before, out of parking area.

So, if you are planning to go to Bahrain bridge then do not park your car wrong. Make sure, it is in  parking area.

It was a wonderful day and finally we returned back home in evening.
