Respecting The Commander

Respecting your seniors and obeying is the base of discipline in any organization and it’s the foremost quality that may lead to the development and prosperity. Due to this very fact Islam also laid enough stress on obeying the seniors and respecting the elders.

Sorrowfully today we have totally gone astray and turned our backs to these basic principals. We have gone so mush away from our origin that we have, unfortunately, openly started disgracing our former commander, not even keeping in view his high esteemed stature and status as being the legitimate president of state as well.

The sorry state of affairs in Pakistan doesn't seem strange knowing the fact that this nation is so disrespectful and insolent. The numb state of national conscious has become an endemic. We have become prone rather addicted to the conspiracy theories and such vulnerable to the propaganda's that our rationale seems to have held hostage to the perpetrators of hate.

Pervez Musharraf is sorrowfully suffering form some sort of sensitive heart issues but the whole media seems hell bent to prove it fake and dragging him to the courtroom and portraying him as a traitor (on the dictates to “N-legeans”). Why media has selfishly forgotten the Musharraf’s role in liberalizing Media, why has it so soon forgotten his role in making the image of country as a liberal and trustworthy international state, bringing boom to the telecommunications, Media and all other noteworthy sectors. Why has the media forgotten that he is the man who resolved in granting amnesty to the likes of Zardari, Nawaz and company so mercifully just to bring the country on track? It has been none other than Musharraf, I request all the patriot Pakistanis to pace forward to thwart the Media propaganda against our national hero and pray for his health….. LONG LIVE Pakistan.

An opinion about Islam and West.

Islam , the religion of the Muslims, a faith regarded to be exposed by Muhammad Peace be upon Him through direct messages from Allah.

"Islam" is an Arabic word it means "submission to the will of God". It came from Arabic word "Salam", which means "peace".

Islam teaches to have a peace of mind and heart, we must submit to God’s will and live according to His Law. The foundation of Islam is on the faith that there is nothing worthy of being worshiped except for Almighty Allah.

Muslim is one who submit to will of Allah regardless of his race or nationality. Mostly people in west believe that Islam only came for Arab countries and only Arabs are Muslims. But it is not true , though most or almost all of Arab are Muslims but there are many non-Arab Muslims throughout the world. This will be clear if we have a look on different countries of the world and check Muslim population in each part. It will reveal that Muslims are in every country and in every part of world.

Most of people today believe that Islam is a new religion but this is not true as Islam is oldest of all . When Allah sent Adam on earth He told him about submission to Allah . So the ideology was same as in Islam hence Islam is a universal and oldest of all religions.

The religions that other prophets have brought in world with them were not Islam neither their manuscripts were quran but Allah have actually paved the way for  Islam and many prophets of Allah predicted for the arrival of last Prophet Muhammad and ultimately Allah completed Islam in its true form through Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Islam, as it is followed by the vast majority o Muslims throughout the world but this Islam is not in its actual form as was presented by Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) but in a moderate one.That is what I believe.

Then what is Islam? A religion and complete  code of life ?

 I have some mixed and confusing thoughts in my mind about Islam that I would like to share here.

Everywhere we go in world , we meet a lot of Muslims praising west and western society and cursing Muslims and finding faults in Islam. The problem is not with Islam its Muslims themselves who have problem as they have modernized their actual religion . We are not following Islam in its true sense and the problems that are arising everywhere are just because we are not following Islam the way we have to follow it. We are following Islam only where it seems to give us some benefits and rest we have our own rules or we follow west .

If we gaze into pages from history and study about Islam and Islamic civilizations that ruled the world then we can have a clear idea how we have to follow and what are the path that will guide us to success and will help to eradicate our problems .

If we see Islamic civilization , then we see it 1400 years ago when prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him (P.B.U.H) had laid the foundation stone of Islam and Islamic civilization . Under his rule the people in Arabia peninsula rise throughout the world , conquered vast latitudes and left an ever lasting impression on hearts and minds of people from where they passed.

Our deterioration started when we kept aside the Islamic laws and developed our own policies to benefit us. I am not writing with an aim to unveil Islam and eradicate misconceptions about it as I believe I do not have that much knowledge to undergo such vast topic of discussion . But I am trying to share only what I believe is wrong and if its amended can help regain our lost pride.

Islam emphasize for the freedom of speech and human rights but nowadays west takes Islam in opposite sense and considers Islamic society as worst when it comes to rights of people specially females, but the reality is against . Islam first identified the rights of humanity and gave rights to females . If we see old western civilization then it will be clear that females faced worst time some centuries back in west. 

Wherever there is problem in world , any terrorism identified directly or indirectly it is linked with Muslims or Islam.  The link of different atrocities with Muslims can be true but with Islam is totally wrong and I Condemn any such link from anyone what so ever to be certainly false.

We have observed that the hatred towards Muslims and  specially  Islam raised to its height in past few years after 9/11 and many other incidents throughout the world. Some of leading countries of the world blamed Muslims and Islam for such activities. No one knows as anything that is presented to them , if it is true or it is just a story dramatized and put forward to believe. Today is age of media and anything starting from one corner of world travels in seconds to other end. We are in age of Globalization and facing a media influence and war and not sure what is true and what is not.

Even if I believe that Muslims helped in such activities against humanity but it has surely nothing to do with Islam this is a development from their own minds not from Islam.

 Islam is religion of peace and harmony and accepts and respects everyone’s status and does not even allow to force anyone to follow its codes and law. Islam who has orders to be even kind with animals how it can allow for a massive killing of innocent people.

If we go in history we come to know when our Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) conquered any new parts he forbade his followers to harm any un armed person in city or even damage plantation or the property . How can we expect such religion can allow us to kill innocent and un armed people on a large scale . This is truly against Law of  Islam .

Islamic civilization originally extended from Western Arabia to the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Asia, tropical Africa, and southern and eastern Europe; and with people which, in the middle of many diversities, share a universal recognition of the belief and law of Islam. Islam had presented the wide civilization with all  its vastness and glory.

The religion of Muslims  have a complete structure of an Islamic society. Islam has complete code of life related to every aspect of life including  literature, politics ,economics, philosophy, science. Law of Islam documents every detail of life and brings into focus different aspects of a world .

In our part I believe we are following a political Islam.

Many Muslims living in today’s world believe that something about Islam isn’t right, but they do not have a clue why and where is the actual problem.

Muslims today who are educated, normally they have a limited knowledge of the Islam and Quran. They know a few verses from Quran and narrate them when needed even without knowing the actual context . Even try to change context for their own benefits. Most of us  share same knowledge to tell about different things . The problem here is, we are emphasizing more on worldly knowledge to  have a better career , good peaceful life but we are forgetting here that PEACE is in following Islam, any worldly knowledge , wealth ,comfort cannot bring peace until we bow to Allah and accept Him as Supreme Power and use His teachings in every aspect of life. Muslims believe that Allah have created everything and He have mentioned everything in Quran and emphasized to explore the universe and get the truth .

We cannot get the truth until we get help from Quran. Many scientists around the world are having research on different fields of life for long time and ultimately they get truth when they took guidance from Quran and they mention this truth in front of the world and even embraced Islam as they came to know that Islam is a true religion and it is not from people like many others religions are from people or have amendments from people.

 We try to have a successful life rather than knowing why we are being sent on earth . We just take Islam for granted and know what we got  from our parents and families and do not try to get information by our hard work and never try to learn Islam and Quran like we do in other aspects of our lives.

In this way we create a confusion in our minds related to Islam and also leave same impression of confusion for rest of the world. The more you study the Quran and Hadith you will be clear about teachings of Islam.

Unfortunately one sad aspect today is, the depiction of Islam by some scholars make some Muslims to follow a certain form of Islam and they totally misunderstand Islam as they fail to understand its true sense and decide to commit suicide by terrorist attacks etc.

We are also confused as there are many scholar who have dedicated their whole life to understand Islam but they themselves follow a specific pattern and misunderstand Islam and have serious conflicts with other scholars believing other patterns.

God has clearly shown two paths to mankind and have mentioned the result to follow both of them ; if we are on good path and follow Islam have better actions we will get Heaven and if we do not submit ourselves to Allah’s will and have bad deeds then we will go to Hell. Afterwards Allah have given everyone a free-will and a choice to choose between right and wrong and clearly mentioned Himself that THERE IS NO COMPULSION IN ISLAM .He have give consciousness , knowledge and understanding and made human beings superior of all the species He created. Allah knows that humans are weak and easily distracted by shaitan that’s why the avenue of repentance is always open, and Almighty God loves the person who regrets over his sins and ask for Allah’s guidance and forgiveness.

Islam informs us that peace and satisfaction can only be obtained by living a life according to law of Islam and  being satisfied with what God has given us... In short, the Islamic way of life is pure.

Muslims of the world take west as their guide and think that western people are successful in life and by imitating their style of life we can be successful too. But first we need to know that the life in west is not actual life a Muslim supposed to have.

Islam forbade us to openly interact with opposite sex without any purpose , it forbade us to use alcohol etc . If we know about west then every such thing is common there.

Females are working side by side with male in every field of life . In Muslim world females are allowed to work but with some restrictions and asked not to cross boundaries that Allah have created between male and female.

We have many problems in world and have many restrictions from our religion . Some people who follow some code of life in western society have forgot about the restrictions on them and do whatever they want. They say its “ freedom” but Islam tells us that freedom is controlling ones desires.

They have no restriction for food they can eat whatever they get or want and in which form. How come they can have food shortage.

All restrictions are on Muslim if they follow Islam in its true form and Allah have mentioned clearly that world is not bed of roses for Muslims and Allah will test each one of us and will give reward if we show faith on Him.

If we follow Islam then as a Muslim its well known to us that how Allah will send His help and how Muslims in 313 number can defeat thousands of non believers.

I believe that Islam is not what Talibans are following as there is no compulsion is Islam and they force people to act on Islam .Quran and Hadith tell us how people started to follow Islam as they were impressed by Kindness ,Forgiveness and patience of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).

I suggest that Muslims of the world must study Islam properly they will understand what is right for them and what is not. Then they will know that success is not in following western society but in following Islam and teachings of holy prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). We as a Muslim are much better in many moral values then followers of another religion. Five times prayer and fasting teaches us self-control , patience . WE will prosper in every field of life and then west will start following us. There will be a day soon when Muslims of the world will rise and Islam will be the only religion that will be followed In Shaa Allah. If we see in world around us ,it is easy to figure out that large number of non believers are converting to Islam as they can not find satisfaction and peace in what they are doing. This is a point for a serious thought , if this is case then why we are trying to follow them , and why we believe that we can be successful after following their foot steps , we must remember success is not that we have wealth ,property ,as a Muslim Allah have made this clear that success will come if we stick to law of Islam , worship Allah and ultimately get heaven.

May Allah grant us the courage to fight against desires of our mind and keep us on straight path that lead us to Heaven . (AMEN)

Oppression against Men

Mistreatment Against Male.

My deepest sympathy goes with all men out there who are continuously being tortured emotionally , mentally , physically  by the world and specifically women.

They are under continued stress at work and have to kill long working hours , are tortured by wives and family members at homes for not fulfilling demands and who are being laughed and looked down upon for complain about all atrocities and injustice against them.Who ever is facing such situation surely tries to fight back in his capacity whether knowing it or unknowingly. 

Many organizations throughout the world are struggling hard for rights of females. They are trying to protect them in every possible way against oppression , violence etc. and advocate for equal opportunities to live in this World. Every day we come across many women activists shouting on media for the rights of females.  

 But I personally believe there must be organizations to stand for rights of male and protect them from the violence and harassment from women .

If we see our culture in Asia, females are considered as weak compared to male some male take it as their birth right to treat females badly , even beat them ,especially after marriage. Many cases are registered daily for violence against female for investigation. This is a common issue in most of families in South East Asia. Some come forward and some families hide it just to save their so-called ego in society.

I would  like to write for those males who face such situation .Who are treated badly and have to suffer violence . Who are actually beaten or threaten by females ,that can be their wives or any other member from society.

Violence against men, can be in different forms and situations;

• ·         Domestic violence
• ·         In Revenge

These cases are not highlighted as men  never discuss any such situation with others. This is against their  ego . How come they can mention this as females are considered weaker.It will not leave good impression for particular man.

Gulf news had a survey , in which it was told that 30% men are beaten at home. Many men negate this survey totally ,some think case cannot be that severe, there can be only 3-4% cases like that and some become angry to hear that .

Few years back I knew a family living in our neighborhood where a man faced such situation . This is one example, if we start inquiring about this many cases can be identified. Every one in society is aware of the fact that in many cases men suffer the consequences , men become murderer , corrupt officials , some times become addicted to drugs or mentally unstable in some cases commit suicide sometimes just because of and sometimes for women. There are many examples of the men around us who are victimized by the females in one way or the other and I believe that women's mistreatment or harassment is severe as normally women torture mentally . Women can take help of their fake tricks , can easily lie  or even conspire against men as she knows when to use her strength of tears and emotionally blackmail others to deceive someone. 

We can see violence against men in some situations like ;

• ·         If female is strong than male, she feels it as her right to take revenge for many other females around her who are beaten by their husbands by torturing .
• ·         Some females do this under certain critical conditions. If they have some disease and they lose their consciousness they do not know at that time what they are actually doing. In this case beating is not limited to husband anyone who will try to cool them down or try to control them in that situation can be beaten  .
• ·         Sometimes it happens where some females can have help of others to take any revenge from husband or anyone else.
• ·         It also happens in families where male  have to stay with in-laws .Female thinks her on a stronger side and she torture husband or even in some cases mother in law or brother-in-law can beat  for not obeying their orders.
• ·         It is also seen in some cases where female is illiterate and have no respect for her husband.
• ·         If female is working , taking care of everything  and  husband is looking after his home then it can also be observed in such situations ,whenever female will be tired of work or angry about something she can mistreat her husband .
• ·         It can be in another form , when husband was angry and he slapped his wife or hit her during argument or fight afterwards when things get normal , he can ask female to take revenge just to relax his wife. There can be two cases female can forgive her husband and can be happy just to hear this or she can take the revenge and beat him as he did and can be violent. Any victim of assault or violence suffer from many mental and physical  disorders.
• Nowadays we are also listening about many women who are blackmailing men through social media, they are taking advantages and put men in a state of unending depression and tension.

 It is normally seen that any kind of mistreatment is result of aggression by any group of people to certain other group of people , it can be from; male to female or female to male or female to female and from male to male .

Mostly it comes from male as they are aggressive ,strong and violent. Normally emotionalism , softness etc. are thought to be feminine qualities but I think it is totally wrong. These are feelings and anyone can possess them. God have not pinned them on females. In today’s male dominated society if a man ask for guidance or help he is considered as weak and looked down upon as a female.  

As far as Muslims are concerned , it is allowed for male to even beat (very lightly , that it do not leave any mark and face must be avoided , it can be like a tap) their females but under certain severe circumstances . When females are doing something against Islamic laws , but it is emphasized that first try to convince them by discussion  but if still they do not stop ignore them try something else , use light punishment  as last option against them. Beating must not be confused with "Physical Violence" .

But as far beating ones husband is concerned Islam do not allow any female to do so , even it is said that if female is allowed to bow in front of someone except Allah , that could be  her husband. 

I know many men will be really angry after reading this and even scold me but it is a fact. I will ask them to take a break and think if they had never faced any situation in which they were hurt , mistreated or tortured by females or males.

In most of the families in Sub Continent female respect male in each relation , whether as father , brother and above all as husband . She believes that these relations are meant to protect her from every thick and thin. Many among us also believe that, " Behind every successful man there is a woman." In many parts of the world female stand side by side with male and become their strength and help them to gain a lot.  

I personally believe that there should not be any oppression against anyone regardless of sex. Islam have given equal rights to men and women and emphasized to behave nicely with everyone as we will be asked for how we treated others in this world.

 I hope there will be no mistreatment of men or women. All females and males should understand their responsibilities and stand with each other as their shield to reinforce and boost morale.

A Page from Diary.

A Busy Day !!!!

I would like to tell you about my last day in Islamabad, Pakistan  ……. and a flying experience that I had 3 days back.

A domestic flying company announced lowest rates ever and everyone was just like running to get a chance to fly on lowest rates to any desired place , my husband booked his ticket and then he thought to buy tickets for us  (my and daughter’s) as well . He bought ticket months ago. I am happy that we  have facility to do all online. We (my daughter and me ) enjoyed a round trip from Islamabad to Karachi . 

When he( my husband ) bought his ticket it was for 4:30 pm on 15^th January  , after some time when he decided to get our ticket all tickets were sold within few minutes . Then he bought our tickets on 15^th January at 7:30 pm.

On that day we could not get up early ,we slept very late last night as we were out for shopping  …..we had planned to have our breakfast on Clifton Beach. We got up at 11 am and took our breakfast at home and then decided to visit beach but before visiting beach we have to go to market to change some dresses that we took last night …. After changing dresses when we were going to beach meanwhile we got to know that we have to recharge our internet router , so we turned towards PTCL office . It did not took much of our time and we were happy for that , but unfortunately we could not even get down on beach and could not enjoy walk and my daughter’s wish to go on swings was not fulfilled as it was very hot in Karachi and it was time for schools to close and we could not take risk to stuck in traffic as husband have to leave at 1:00 pm from home.

On our way back home we came to know that our neighbor have a new addition of baby girl in family and we thought to visit them as well , we turned to market to buy some new born stuff as time was so close and we were in rush everywhere.  We hurried back to home and tried to visit our neighbor but they were not at home at that time , so we could not see new born baby girl , and my daughter was so sad as she was so excited before that she will visit new friend.

Anyways, my husband went to his friend house to park his car and called his friend to drop him on airport. I called him if I cook something , but he told me he is already late . He got back home , he bought some snacks for our daughter with him and then he left for airport.

After he left I started preparing my bag , packed some clothes , shoes etc as my daughter slept  and then I thought to check in online, I tried to check in online but the price for check in was higher than the price of ticket , so I thought against that . I was thinking to check in before I got to the airport as I was thinking I may also not get late like husband .  Afterwards I inquired from my husband about this situation he told me check in is free but as may be I selected seat so I have to pay or I was checking in very close to flight time .

I woke up my daughter at 5:30 and prepared her to fly. My husband called a taxi to give us a drop on airport before leaving so after preparing we started  waiting for taxi , my husband called me when he reached Islamabad , that taxi will pick me from home at 6:10 pm . Taxi came at 6:00 pm and building watchman came upstairs to inform me about that.We got on to taxi and reached Karachi International Airport .  Inside the airport I had to search for my terminal and I saw a lot of  employees on airports were busy with their heads down on computers. They were all busy to make it sure that all passengers reach their destination without any problem.

Ultimately I found my domestic terminal and I went up for check in. I had to look in different counter to reach my desired counter. At check-in counter  employ asked me if I have any bag and I shook my head in negative , my husband actually took my bag with him. Then he checked my ID and pointed towards left side where I had to go , unfortunately I misunderstood him and thought he is asking me to take my boarding pass to person sitting on next counter. I went to next counter and I tried to show my Pass to employee but he was like.. what you want now , you have your boarding pass….. then I realized what I had done , so to cover the situation I turned my boarding pass towards me and noticed that gate number was not mentioned on that , I asked at once , what is gate number ….. then he told me Gate No. 2 and guided me to the gate.

Inside there was a man with long mustache and he asked me to go and visit female search room and told me to go left but I discovered it was  right. A man was continuously arguing with him over something , I think he confused him and he guided me to a wrong door.

After usual process we went to waiting room and had an hour to kill, so I went to one of those snacks and coffee shops and thought to drink a cup of coffee but my daughter started shouting as she wanted to watch PEPPA PIGGY cartoon on her IPad . So I started searching for some unsecured networks in range inside waiting lounge , finally after changing my place few times I got unsecured network from some coffee or Ice cream shop . That was a sigh of relief for me as my daughter will not bother me for at least  some time.

We were supposed to board at 7:00 pm as my flight time was 7:30 pm . I went to check boarding time but it was not mentioned and I was like … WHAT ….!!!! Anyways I went to gate number 2 from where we had to leave , all passengers were waiting in few rows to board , but the employees were not paying attention to passengers despite were moving here and there and were looking on back side as if they were trying to see from gates if pilot had started the plane . Few children went to counter and tried to present their boarding cards but they were told to wait a minute. After waiting for more than half hour they started boarding in an orderly fashion.

This was my first experience with this airways when I went into plane I was surprised as it was so small and it was hard to move with bags and I thanked God that I do not have any hand carry but a small shoulder bag.

It took more than half hour for passengers to board and when I called my husband at 8:00 pm , he wondered if I was still on ground . It was a 1 hour 35 minutes flight , not much long flight actually. But with no Music and no mini Screen for games / cartoons ( for my daughter) it was hard to spend this time. It did not took time for me to imagine how the flight will be for me – with my daughter shouting and making mischief throughout.

 My daughter sat on seat and started inquiring about mini screen ( mama where is my TV , how I will watch cartoon , I told her to watch cartoon on I Pad , she took I Pad from me and after some investigation she handed that back to me saying no internet ) then the next demand from her was for macaroni , as always with other airline she use to ask for macaroni she opened her front table and adjusted her position and waited for aunty ( air hostess ) to come and serve her macaroni .

It was actually a budget flight and we had to purchase everything we need . I saw a card with all available items , there were few drinks , chocolates , biscuits , noodles etc.

I was looking into this if I can find macaroni and I can buy for my daughter but unfortunately they were not serving that . I tried to give my daughter snacks that I was carrying with me but she said she just want to eat macaroni from aunty . I told her to wait , so she started waiting for the time when she will be served with macaroni.

By the time we were informed to tie our seat belts and after some usual prayers we took off. I was happy I got seat with a window , I glanced out of the window , I saw whole city full of lights of different colors it was very beautiful scene from top and then clouds came in between.

My daughter was continuously moving on her seat and I thought she will be bothering a lady next to her so I changed her seat and asked her to have window seat and watch outside. She was happy to see the lighting in whole city .

Eventually, the ladies with trolley approached us for some food items but I negate to take any . A boy got a pack for noodles on other side and he was shocked to know the price for a noodle pack in air. The way he overcame his facial expression and situation was worth seeing it.  

My daughter noticed that aunty(air hostess) is here now and she asked me to get macaroni , meanwhile lady next to us bought coffee  and air hostess left soon after that as I had told her before I will not take anything . While watching air hostess going my daughter started crying that aunty did not give her macaroni , it took for me few minutes to convince her to enjoy croissant with juice .

My daughter was continuously busy singing poems talking about peppa pig and red riding hood and acting like George monkey and she attracted the attention of lady sitting next to me . She asked about my daughter’s age and stuff and then we started talking about ourselves . She was bit unhappy with men as she had a bad experience in her wedding but I told her if she will give someone else a chance he can change her views about men, but she told me that she is happy with her life now -- she exclaimed that she is living a life as she wanted , she works and enjoy her time with her two kids.

We had good chat and finally we were informed that we have started our descent.

Our plane then taxied across the runway and arrived its destination.

 We get off the runway and they opened up our gate and we entered inside airport and passengers hurried to take their luggage and I called my husband to tell him that we have arrived, he told me before that he will wait on Islamabad International Airport and we will leave together from airport for our home .

We ( my daughter and me) came out of airport and met my husband, before we came out my husband called a taxi so we sat in taxi and started towards our home. It was 10 pm and I asked my husband to buy some food from the way as what I will cook at that time at home. So he got Turkish shawarma with rice , salad and some soft drinks . We reached home, I asked my daughter if she wants to eat macaroni but she said no and told me that she just wanted in plane from aunty and we laughed a lot afterwards we enjoyed our food and went to sleep to have a fresh start again .
I am also happy  as the Airline gave a chance to its passengers to fly in lowest rates ever. Private Airline is good option as PIA is very busy and always have high rates... with low rates those people also got chance who can not afford air ticket with normal rates.  I wish we get some good offers in future as well. 

It was really a busy day for us but I am happy everything went as it was planned but things got very closed and we have to rush as we woke up late in morning ….
