Mysterious Moguicheng

Though man has ripped the sky, investigate other planets but there are so many mysteries left on earth, his home land that is still unsolved. Among these mysteries there are some places that hold some incredibly miraculous powers that man could not get any clues of their mysteries, even though he has the most advance equipments. The legendary tales remain mysterious and unknown to the world outside.

Among these strange places, Moguicheng which is a desert, have a mystery of its own. It is very famous place and the fame is not because of natural beauty but because of ‘who is there?’  Moguichen is situated in Xinjiang province of China. Local call it so as it means City of Devil. In Gobi desert there appear mounds in the shape of castle of different height scattered in disarray.

Moving toward the castles on a sunny day accompanied by breeze will produce a melodious rhythm of millions of vibrating bells or it seems that millions of fairies are pulling strings of guitars. The magnificent stones of different colors like red, green, blue are scattered in rolling hill seems that fairies lost treasure, that give the situation much more mysterious touch.

However if the wind is blowing strongly or a cyclone comes huge amount of sand is blown, the sky becomes dark and the melodious fairies shaking bells or flicking guitar sounds changes to roar of the tigers, trumpet elephants, and dreadful cry of babies then the sounds transforms to screaming of women to mourning and quarreling. That’s not it the storms spins by spurt up the sky associated by frightening wolf growling sounds in the cloudy sunset. It seems that fairies land is attacked by witches and ghosts.

Myth about the area is that ghosts produce such sounds. But actually reason for sounds are unrevealed up to now. Though it’s a bit scary but for a moment force your mind to go out of this technological era and think that these sounds are produced by fairies and ghosts, you will like this and want to visit this scary place and ask Who Is There?!

I am sorry - Apology

Thought of the Day!!!

I was helping my three years old daughter with some coloring, having so much colors around me gave me a push to hold and use them. This is what I came up with. I am not good at drawing at all but I liked the quote and thought to share with you.

I do not know about the person who came up with this quote but I really like it.

optimize image

Saying sorry does not bring any humiliation to someone but it increases the respect in other's eyes.
One who comes with apologetic behavior is strongest and is most caring person.

What do you think about apologizing? What do you believe, it helps to forget the pain or shows any care?? Is there any connection between ego and apology???

 I will be happy if you will share your thoughts about it.

Umar Bin Khitab - A Man of Principle

Don't know how to start this article...!!!!!!,

Lets say;

"If any one after Me was to be a prophet, He would Have been 'UMAR R.A'." Said Muhammad S.A.W.

The Second Great Chaliph of Islamic History during whose reign there was none who would accept ZAKA in whole Islamic World.

I just want to narrate two occasions of His RA life here, when His R.A. Advice (Mashwara) was 100% then interpreted by ALLAH as the words of QURAN;

It was perhaps the day of judgement for the Prisoners of BADR, HE S.A.W asked his companions to give him advice on this matter, "What to do with these prisoners". All of His S.A.W companions gave different words but at last Umar R.A. Said, "Kill them all and send their heads to Quresh". But HE S.A.W decided along with his other companions to let those go who give them Gizya, or if any one don't have Gizya then he must teach 10 Muslim children and then he shall be released......

When the decision was implemented Hazrat Jibrail A.S appeared and told Hazart Muhammad SAW that you all people decided this after negotiations so I (ALLAH) accepts your decision, Other wise my decision was same as Umar R.A.

Second Occasion comes;

Hazrat Umar R.A is sitting with Beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, a Badhu comes in to His S.A.W Hujra and starts talking to Both of the Nobel, The talk is on going and suddenly the door opens and Hazrat Ayesha R.A comes in, asks some thing from Prophet S.A.W. and went back. She R.A. is the Queen of Muhammad S.A.W heart and all of the Muslim world. The Badhu sees and sees and then keep on staring this beautiful lady, Who was named as HUMAIRA, (The Beautiful) by Muhammad S.A.W.
Hazrat Umer R.A. is watching this whole scenario very keenly, and now when the Badhu leaves He R.A. tell Muhammad S.A.W, "today If I haven't had ALLAH fear I would have Killed this Badhu, he was starring at Ayesha, Please You S.A.W ask Awaj-e-Mutaharat not to come in front of us in a sitting like this,".

Muhammad S.A.W says, "I can't ask them to do something like that, as ALLAH never sent any of HIS such orders for women yet to me."

The same time Jibraeel A.S appears with the Aya's containing the orders of PARDAH for Azwaj-e-Mutaharat and all of the Muslim Women, Saying, " O' Muhammad (S.A.W) Tell your Wives and All Muslim women to observe Veil, Cover your faces and your chests (Brests) while leaving out, And don't talk friendly with any man outside, for he who has some bad thing in his heart, may not interpret something wrong."

The day is over and Umer R.A. Advice became the principal for whole of the Muslim nation Women till the day of Judgment.........!!!!

The Principles which he implemented during his reign are an open picture of the Islamic teachings.

Dress Code for Muslim Female: Hijab, Niqab or Veil #Islam

                                                          Got this from Facebook.

Today I came across above photo in Facebook and thought to share something about dress code of a Muslim women according to Law of Islam. The Creator has ordered believers ( women and men) to dress modestly.

I found on BBC website a translated verse from Holy Quran related to covering. It states;

 Tell the faithful women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their scarf to cover their bosom

Quran, 24:31

For male it is necessary to cover from navel to knees and for female it means covering whole body except face, hands, feet.

A lot of discussion is going on around the world about the covering for women between many scholars.Women all around the world have different concept relating Hijab. Their interpretation of covering and specially head covering is different from each other in many aspects.

Females wear head covering according to their tradition or according to interpretation of their scholar.

How many ways to cover ?? How much to cover??

Women use different types of head coverings, different terms are used for it like hijab, niqab, veil.
  • Hijab; it covers hair of female , neck , ear and face is left open.
  • Niqab ; it covers hair , neck , ear and face as well but eyes are left uncovered.
  • Veil when they go out in of their homes in public.
This dress code is observed by Muslim women when they are going out in public just to hide themselves from sight of other men. Females do not observe any such dress code when they are at their homes or with Mahram ,it includes; father,brother, son, grandfather, uncle. She is free to decide about her dress when she is surrounded by her family. It is totally up to her choice.

Many scholars believe that there is exception for face but others believe that females must cover her face as well. The thing I like the most is; Islam asks men to lower their gaze before asking females to dress modestly.
You can check this link from BBC for different styles of head covers:
  1. Some women go with hijab, some niqab and some choose veils but some conservative women also wear gloves and socks to hide their hands and ankles from unrelated men. They want that no part of their body can been seen by any other man who is not mahram. It depends on their customs and traditions or on national dress of many countries. In some Muslim countries in South East Asia women do not even use head covering and some have a long shawl and cover their hair and body with it. In some Arab countries women wear hijab and some niqab
  2. Niqab is mostly common in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If you go in any market then hardly you will find any women who have not used niqab. With niqab female also use a long loose cloak called abaya to cover their body. According to teachings of Islam women must wear such dress that her body parts or their body shape is not clear. Women are asked to keep their dresses simple so it may not attract eyes of un-related person. Now a days niqab is becoming very common in females in Asia but many females wear abayas with beautiful embroidery and have different designs and patterns on abaya
  3. Veil is actually an additional covering with niqab that also covers eyes , but eyes are covered with a sheer black piece of cloth that hide eyes as well but as it is see through so female can easily walk and continue with her work.  This piece sometimes is attached with niqab as an extra covering for eyes and sometimes bring one side of their scarf back and brings it down from to conceal her eyes.
Muslim women is not allowed to pray if she do not observe her dress code she have to wear khimar to cover her hair and upper chest , there must be loose skirt for legs as well.

Ban on Hijab or Niqab:

In some western countries there is ban on hijab or niqab. But I personally believe that it must be choice of women to decide how she want to dress up according to Law of Islam. Women must keep their dress simple, loose and she must cover her body.

My Experience with Hijab & Niqab:

I started using hijab and abaya in 2007 and then niqab from 2010. I never had any problem with that. I think I feel more comfortable and confident when I am in public with niqab. It was purely my choice and no one forced or even asked me to do so. Many females of my family even my sister and mother do not use it.  I am happy with my decision.

I am sharing a link with you in which you can know about dress code for a Muslim women in more detail, you can also know about opinion of some females who choose to wear niqabhttp://www.apologeticsindex.org/504-muslim-veils

On last note I would like to tell you that the religion of Islam is not about keeping fast during month of Ramadan  , praying five times a day every day, wearing hijab or niqab or veil or growing long or  short beard, it is certainly not about exaggerated dialogues and debates by scholars . Try to understand Islam. I would like to request everyone to read about teachings of Islam before blaming Islam. It is a way of life a way to Peace.

What do you think is it matter of women's rights to allow women to dress up how they want or you think that wearing hijab or niqab is any hindrance to her progress??? What do you believe that ban on Muslim dress code is fair by some countries???? Is it necessary to have dress code???

I will be happy if you will share your opinion for this dress code or If you are a hijabi then share your experience.

Recently I came across this study related to women who wear hijab.

Captain Abdullah Khan

Captain Abdullah khan is among those freedom fighters who commanded Sudhnoti fighters; he fought against Doggra and Indian army for one and a half year. Captain Abdullah khan was born in Pallandri in 1910. His father's name was Fazal Khan. He joined army in 1926; took part in Second World War and was appointed at different locations with Captain Hussein Khan of Rawalakot. In 1947 when Pakistan came in to being thousands of people migrated to Pakistan after leaving behind the entire in India, their rehabilitation was a huge dilemma. In those critical circumstances captain Abdullah khan was appointed in Punjab and the duty allotted to him was not only their shifting but also their security. Soon he came to knew that environment in Kashmir is getting serious so he came to Kashmir.

In the first week of October Doggra army ran from Azad Pattan and then from Pallandri. On 7th October a war council was founded to take control of the area and to secure the area which was freed from Doggra Army. Mean while Captain Hussein Khan gets information from his sources that Doggra Army is planning to get control of Pallandri again by invading through Kotli. The situation was very critical; Captain Hussein Khan came to Pallandri and called Captain Abdulla Khan, met him as both remain in the English army together so they had good relation. Captain Hussein Khan told him about the situation and asked him to start preparation to fight against Doggra Army and defend the area. Captain Abdullah Khan gathered army trained people from Pallandri and surrounding areas; mean while Sakhi dalair Khan came to the area from Hajira as he was the native of a village Sersavah (District Kotali). He was given the command  because he was well aware of the area. Captain Abdullah Khan was made second in command. These freedom fighters took positions near Sersavah stream and attacked Doggra Army. Doggra Army again attacked but they were defeated by these brave soldiers. Afterwards freedom fighters surrounded Kotli, captain Abdullah Khan was among them. He commanded a battalion among three Sudhan brigade. This battalion was later taken as 16-Ak part of Azad Kashmir regiment.

16-Ak after its formation combined with Sudhan brigade and fought against Indian army. On 27 November 1947 Kotli was concurred. Indian army was pushed to Nowshera. Freedom fighters chased them but in Nowshera Indian army was able to form a strong defense as they got fresh supply of weapons moreover air defense also arrived for their help. Freedom fighters called for heavy weapon but unfortunately they did not get the weapons on time and the whole scenario was changed. Many sons of Sudhnoti gave their lives for the nation in the surroundings of Nowshera. Many freedom fighters were martyred (Shahadat) among them were two brothers of Ghazai Sher Dil khan of Baral. On one side scanty weapons, death of many freedom fighters and shortage of other important stuff arise and on Indian army side fresh weapons along with large number of fresh soldiers let the Indian army to advance toward Rahjori. Though Indian army advanced toward Rahjori but the freedom fighters of Sudhnoti never let them to advance toward Kotli. Captain Abdullah Khan’s battalion scarified many lives but they always remained on front foot to defend their area. The battalion attacked a mountain called Peer Badasar on November 1947 and gave severe injuries to the enemy. The battalion occupied few areas but the brigade commander ordered to cease fire as the freedom fighters damage was increasing day by day.

Till the war ended Captain Abdullah khan commanded the battalion—so he remained on battle field for one year and four month. He was awarded the title of ‘Sher e Jang’ for his bravery on the battle field. He engaged himself in political and social activities after retirement from army. He lived a long life. He died at the age of 93 in July 2003.
