"Don't underestimate the power of resting. It builds you back, unlike anything." ― Hiral Nagda.
In this fast-paced world, it seems foolish to say such things to anyone , “take a break”. Think about people around you, who takes break? no one i guess, isn't it??? A multitasking person doing lots of work at the same time and doing it correctly is considered to be very smart and is appreciated by everyone. I know many people who were brought up with a mindset to work hard, more precisely- overwork! In a world where people take pride in doing hard work, taking breaks is threatening but have you ever thought of living that life for which you are facing this hardship???

I am not here to lecture you about; how much sleep is needed by your brain? or how much rest your body requires? I know you can search and read hundreds and thousands of articles on this topic with one click and can prove me wrong!! So I am not going to say all that stuff --brain; which indeed is helping you to be smart person and the body that is supporting the brain to perform multiple tasks need certain amount of rest, how much? you know it better.
The only thing I want to emphasize is Take a Break!!

There is surly Beauty in Slowing Down. Stopping at any moment taking a minute to stop, slow down or pause, is about more than
just resting; it provides with a moment to reconnect with your surroundings, you feel the nature around you, you need to stop, to understand the value of the things that you are blessed with.
Stopping, pausing for a moment gives you a valuable chance to network with surrounding, your environment. We can properly perceive and appreciate life's tiny surprises, beautiful moments, such as; a child's laughing, the
sensation of warm sunlight, appreciation for our small gesture, or the delight of a homemade meal. You can enjoy only if you PAUSE, you STOP, for a while from all the hustle and bustle or a roller coaster ride of your life. These
moments has significance beyond our expectations, we can feel only if we stop.
Allah has created a night with each passing day. If resting or stopping was not important then why we are bestowed with a time to relax and recharge. There is balance in the things around us. Whole universe has a balance, which is significant and provides depths, the pause and break is important for long-term functionality and success.
We believe today that taking a vacation is just a wastage of time and when we are losing time we are actually falling
behind. However, it's the opposite which is true- rest, slumber, offers the time to energizer ourselves and provides an opportunity for mental clarity. Think about yourself, when do you work efficiently, effectively or make better decisions in life? True, when you are fresh, energized with a clear mind, you actually cultivate creativity. The energy in our body and soul revolutionizes with taking breaks and the way we approach the hardships , the adversities and the difficulties or the challenges of our lives.
A few days back I heard about the death of a young girl who was working so hard in her life and surely she had plans for the future, she must have planned that after reaching any position I would be contented, Alas that time never came for her, before that, she had to leave this work though she worked hard for a brighter future. While I was still feeling down and gloomy, heard another news about a young man's death yesterday. If you ever met him, the spark in his expressive eyes will tell you what are his life's dreams, what he wants for himself in future, he was working hard for a promising future, he was not ready to take any break, but what happened? Remember one thing; life never goes by your set plans, no one knows what tomorrow brings to you so enjoy what you have now. Live in this moment- next moment is not guaranteed-- take time to have lunch, have tea with family, and socialize with friends. Although these short breaks may not have as much impact as taking holidays they will still help you to relax and the best thing is they let you live in these moments which you may not have tomorrow.
Remember:
